Dear Network Professionals, I hope that this message finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy! As I reflect and prepare for the coming week, health officials’ ominous comments about the week-ahead being the “Pearl Harbor” or “9/11” equivalent of the COVID-19’s toll on our communities, makes me sharply focused on our mindsets and resolve. This is the week that we need to pour into each other and our loved ones and maintain our optimism. As Gino Blefari reminds us, “it’s easy to be optimistic during good times, but it’s more important to be optimistic during the challenging times.” It’s just harder to be optimistic when things around us aren’t so great, but there in lies the challenge, and the opportunity, to maintain our optimism. I also love this quote that Jimmy Burgess shared on our live-cast last week, “when it’s the darkest, the light shines the brightest!” And I know so many of you are the light – you’re the light for your teams, your families, your loved ones and many of your contacts and customers. So, let’s carry our shine into the week and into every interaction we have with each other! And to that point, consider making phone calls as much as possible. Instead of an email or text, a phone call may serve as the boost of energy or confidence the other person needs this week. Consider which items could be more valuable with a phone call versus an email or text!! Last week’s Live-Cast was a hit and we’re going to continue with 2 more episodes this week – Tuesday at 10:30a pacific with Glennda Baker, Ashley Blackmore, and Libby Azzarello and then Thursday at 7:30a pacific with Will Grimes and Eli Schmidt. Please, go to my Facebook Page at HSFChrisStuart, like and follow the page as we’re going to post and share all of our communications as well as up-coming announcements on that Page. And finally, and most importantly, please review the attached Guide for Agents on the recent legislation. It’s a 2-page guide with step-by-step suggestions as to how best to access and leverage the various relief programs. Here’s some of the things I love about you – your entrepreneurial spirit, your “can-do” attitude, the strength to “blaze your own trail” and pursue a career in real estate without the safety net of a regular paycheck! These qualities drive your success. BHHS Federal COVID-19 Legislation Guide for Network Agents However, please don’t let that spirit and independence get in the way of using the relief programs that can benefit you and your business during this unprecedented time!! You’ve heard that saying, “sometimes our biggest strength is our biggest weakness!” Please
don’t let that be the case. Don’t let your fierce independence and “go it alone” mindset get in the way of leveraging the relief options available to each of you! These programs are in place to help alleviate some of the anxiety and uncertainty that we’re naturally dealing with. You will gain strength and confidence in putting your own financial situation in order which is critical to your being able to serve your customers and help them do the same! Until next time, stay safe, stay healthy, and stay positive!! Chris
