HOW TO STAGE YOUR HOME TO SELL

CLIENT FACING SAMPLE VIDEO

Hey everyone it’s [JOE AGENT] with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty Texas with a quick video for you on how to stage your home to sell. I personally believe that staging your home before listing it for sale is a very important step in the selling process & that it will lead to 2 things; a shorter sale & a higher sales price!

The most obvious thing in staging your home turns out to be the most important. De-cluttering rooms so that prospective buyers can see the house & not just all your stuff is critical. Allow buyers to get a feel for the floor plan & help them visualize living there by defining rooms with appropriate furniture groupings & decorative accents.

Another obvious tip, keep it clean! Maintaining a tidy home inside and out during your showing period helps prospective buyers feel welcome & comfortable in your home. Nothing is more off-putting than walking into a messy house & buyers will often have trouble looking past it.

Finally, keep it well lit. You want to enhance all the great features your home has to offer & that can be tough if buyers can’t see them! Consider adding more lamps & other light sources to illuminate those dark areas & ensure that you turn on all the lights before each showing to welcome in, who could possibly be, your home’s next owner.

If you or someone you know are considering selling your home, give me a call to discuss the steps in preparing your property for sale. Staging can nearly always be accomplished with only using items you already own & our professional, certified home stagers will meet with you at absolutely no cost to you. Give me a call today to get started!
